Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council (MRCC)
Established since the legalization of cannabis in 2017, Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council is a BIPOC, women, queer founded, and cooperatively ran nonprofit that educates consumers on how to decolonize the weed and advocates for restorative justice for communities that have been disproportionately impacted by the War On Drugs.
Our 2021 initiatives include:
- Advocating for consumer interests on a state and municipal level.
- Providing educational trainings and workshops to consumers, municipalities, and the state.
- Sharing holistic cooperative models that help us create cooperative ownership of our labor, our land, our plant.
