At the 2022 MJBizCon, BIPOCANN participated as an exhibitor in the annual Associations Day pre-conference event. BIPOCANN’s founder, Ernest Toney, also moderated a panel discussion at MJBizCon titled, “Strengthening Social Equity in Cannabis Through Strategic Partnerships.”

Cannabis Quality Conference

The Cannabis Quality Conference & Expo is an educational and networking event for the cannabis industry that has cannabis safety, quality and regulatory compliance as the foundation of the educational content of the program.

At the 2022 event, BIPOCANN provided support as a marketing partner and contributor to panel discussions (including recruitment of speakers from the BIPOCANN membership network). Through the partnership, Cannabis Quality Conference also provided complimentary tickets to BIPOCANN, which were used to provide access to students and social equity licensees from New Jersey, New York, and Vermont.

Social Impact Webinar: Expunge Colorado

In this webinar, BIPOCANN hosted Expunge Colorado — a non-profit designed to provide education, training, consultation and access to pro bono legal services for record sealing and expungement of eligible criminal cases in Colorado.

Through the conversation, the Expunge Colorado team will provide an overview of their organization, what they do, and how the recruitment of legal and financial assistance directly benefits individuals in the community who need help with record sealing and expungement.
